Two-line models include a mix-minus bus for multiplex communication while on the air or on standby in the studio: pressing the MPX button automatically establishes a conference between the two phone lines, so only a single power supply Audio to and from the hybrid to the mixer is needed. The TH-03 is responsible for simultaneously receiving incoming calls to the console, and provides audio from the console to each individual phone line, both with the audio from the console and the audio from other callers.
The TH-03 also has AEQ's exclusive built-in frequency extender. When activated, it moves all frequencies 250 Hz up on the send line and 250 Hz down on the receive line. These additional 2 ½ octaves result in enhanced bass frequencies. To use the frequency extender functionality, another AEQ hybrid must be used on the other end.
Each telephone line incorporates a SET port that is disabled when the hybrid is on the air. Each of the TH-03's telephone lines, off-hook, frequency extender and on-the-air functions, can be controlled locally through the front panel or remotely using a console or remote control panel.
The AEQ TH-03 is capable of operating with single or double lines. Line level of independent outputs or multiplexed output provided by its unique multiplexing capabilities. Working with dual lines enables conference calling, allowing the On Air personality and the two callers to speak and listen to each other simultaneously.
Feedback is removed by the digital hybrid. No adjustments are required to operate.

The TH-03 Advanced Digital Hybrid is manufactured in versions for one or 2 phone lines, and with AES / EBU analog or digital audio inputs and outputs.
It incorporates audio send and receive level meters for each hybrid. The feed-back is removed by the digital hybrid. It does not require previous adjustment for its correct operation.
