OPTIMOD-AM 9300 is descended from the industry standard OPTIMOD-AM audio processors 9100 and 9200. Thousands of these processors are in the air worldwide. They have shown that "OPTIMOD sound" attracts and maintains an audience even in the most competitive business environment.

The 9300 was designed to deliver high-quality FM-like sound to the listener's ear by preprocessing the limitations of the average car or table radio (while avoiding audible side effects and volume or coverage compromises). Except for the newly designed parametric low-pass filters, the 9300's five-band clipper and compressor are identical to those of the 9200. Plus, we've improved the 9200 by adding a more powerful EQ and providing a two-band AGC with gate. window.

This equalizer can produce extreme pre-emphasis that is suitable for very narrow band radios.

The 9300's fully parametric low and medium frequency EQs allow you to tailor your air sound to your precise needs and wants. The 9300 is also fully compliant with the standard NRSC pre-emphasis curve.

Controllable and Adjustable

Wide variety of factory presets
 The 9300 comes with a wide variety of factory presets to suit almost any user requirement. A single LESS-MORE control easily modifies any factory presets. The user (through FULL MODIFY) can further customize the presets, and these can be stored and recalled in the command. Advanced control (accessible from the PC Remote application) facilitates detailed sound design using the same controls that were available to factory programmers.

Meters
 Full-time LCD and LEDs A full-time LCD display and LED meters make it easy to set up, adjust, and program the 9300 - you can always view the measurement while tuning the processor. Navigation is done using dedicated buttons, programmable buttons (whose functions are context sensitive) and a large rotary button. The LEDs show all the measurement functions of the processing structure (two bands or five bands) in use.

Real time clock
 The 9300 contains a versatile real-time clock, which enables automation of various events (including recall of presets) at pre-programmed times.

Test and alignment
 A bypass test mode can be invoked locally, by remote control (from the 9300 GPI port or PC 9300 remote application), or by automation to allow transmission system alignment and testing or "performance test" testing "

Alignment Tone Generator
 The 9300 contains a built-in alignment tone generator that offers sine, square, and triangle waves, making it easy to set level quickly and accurately on any system.

Upgradeable
 The 9300 software can be updated by running the downloadable update software provided by Orban on a PC. Remote control
