The HL-202 Telephone Hybrids control 2 telephone or cellular lines, indistinctly. Two or three HL202 units are grouped together to handle 4 lines or 6 phone/cellular lines. These units synthesize our 45-year experience in the manufacture of telephone hybrids for broadcasting.
This translates into a system where excellence is built into the design, facilitating the operator's work. Sending and receiving have limiters and audio compressors, as well as band-pass filters, to automatically adjust levels and avoid saturation of telephone lines that occurs with other brands.
They can operate with any console model. The cabinet has flip-up ears so it can be rack mounted or tabletop operated. The rejection exceeds 40 dB and the audio quality on the air is so good that it is surprising that it originates from a telephone line...

Each line allows you to set the exact balance. It only fits when installing. A recording output allows the hybrid to be used without a console.
Each line accepts an associated telephone, for Production, which is disconnected by putting it on hold.
Unlike other brands, this hybrid offers 8 dB of crossover gain to compensate for line losses and make it possible for everyone to hear each other at a good level in a conference.

The keypads have buttons illuminated by reflection, highly visible, which prevents errors in operation.

The hybrids allow you to enter either with fixed telephone lines or with cell phones, using the cell phone's hands-free cable. The hybrid recognizes the different inputs and automatically configures itself to operate in 2 wires (TF line) or in 4 wires (cellular)
By connecting active PC speakers to the CUE monitor output, the operator will always be able to listen to the telephone or cellular lines when they are on hold.
